A: Our team travels to our hosting Country and normally will spend several weeks there, co-creating a show, visiting as many children as possible and then performing the show for free. We also think it's really important that our performers get to experience the culture, so we also have days sightseeing, going to the markets and learning the local culture.
A: Performers, circus artists, musicians, clowns, and passionate volunteers of all backgrounds are welcome. We aim for diverse skills and personalities in each team. However, we do have limited spaces on our Circus for Humanity Trips, so we do normally prefer performers with experience to apply.
A: Absolutely you can, however our policy around this is that a parent or guardian must accompany you as a paid participant. Always best to reach out to us to discuss.
However, we at Circus for Humanity encourage young performers to apply as it's a great opportunity to work with other professionals, co-producing a show and getting to perform on an Internatinal stage.
